Important Password Information

CruzPay has been configured to conform to the UCSC Password Strength and Security Standards, available in its entirety here. In order to maintain secure data, UCSC will require CruzPay passwords to meet the following criteria:

1. Passwords must be at least 8 characters in length
2. Your password must contain 3 of the following categories
   • Lower case letters
   • Upper case letters
   • Numbers
   • Non alpha-numeric characters (e.g. !,@,#,$,%)
3. Passwords may not contain your name or user ID

In addition, you have 7 attempts to log in before you are locked out of the system. If this occurs, you will need to contact cruzpay_help@ucsc.edu to have your password reset.
