Who will use CruzPay in Phase 1?

Approximately 1700 staff employees across all divisions will begin using CruzPay in late August 2006 (Phase 1) for recording time worked and/or leave taken. In most divisions approximately 95% of staff will be included in Phase 1 . The selection of the included employees for Phase 1 was based on identifying staff with similar application of policy without "special" provisions.

Future phases of CruzPay will include additional functionality such as electronic approval of time and leave reporting, multiple appointments and labor distribution tracking. Affected employees will also be notified directly with specific instructions on how to log on and use the system.

To find out if you are included in CruzPay Phase 1, search by your last name or by your unit. This information was pulled at the beginning of August 2006, so we understand there may be changes as we approach our go live date in August. Changes to the employee population, as well as updates to existing data, will be posted on a regular basis.

Employee groups who will not be using CruzPay in Phase 1 (late August), but will in future phases are:

  • Employees who use alternate timekeeping methods such as FAMIS or the CUHS Portal.
  • Academic employees who report time or leave taken
  • Student Employees
  • UARC
  • UCO Lick
  • Physical Plant
  • Physical Planning & Construction
  • Firefighters
  • Police
  • Nurses
  • Health Care Professionals
  • Patient Care Technical
  • Skilled Crafts
  • TAPS Shuttle Bus Drivers
