Dear CruzPay Supervisor,

We are happy to announce that your CruzPay-eligible student employees have been provided with their CruzPay account information via CruzMail (@ucsc.edu email addresses). Beginning with the April 24 – May 23 pay period, you should no longer expect to receive paper timesheets from these student employees. At the end of the pay period, they will submit their timesheets electronically for your approval. Although a student may not have hours to report, we ask that they submit their timesheet to indicate to you and the timekeeper that their timesheet is finalized.

If you are new to approving timesheets in CruzPay, you will find the following changes to your CruzPay experience:

  1. Enhanced supervisor dashboard
  2. Access to your student employees’ time reporting records
  3. Ability to electronically approve timesheets
  4. Monthly email reminders regarding timesheet approvals

If you already approve timesheets in CruzPay, you will see your student employees listed separately in your approval window. The students listed in your approval window will be submitting their timesheets for your approval at the end of their pay period (the 23rd of each month.)
