How to allow CruzPay pop-up windowsThere are a number of functions within CruzPay that require pop-up windows to function properly, such as Submit Timesheet, Time Off Balance and Pay Preview. However, most browser configurations block pop-up windows by default. To enable pop-up windows for the CruzPay site, please find the browser you are using below, and follow the directions given. Internet Explorer:These directions are necessary only if you have Internet Explorer 6.0 SP2. To determine your version of Internet Explorer, Choose About Internet Explorer from the Help Menu, and find Update Version. If it says SP2, follow the directions below. If it says SP1, you do not need to disable a pop-up blocker.

If you have allowed pop-up windows for the CruzPay system, and are still having trouble submitting, you may have a secondary pop-up blocker installed in your system. Both Google Toolbar and Yahoo! Toolbar have pop-up blocker components. Configuring these should allow pop-up windows. Google ToolbarYou have Google Toolbar installed if you see the following below the address bar in your browser window.
Yahoo ToolbarYou have Yahoo Toolbar installed if you see the following below the address bar in your browser window.
If these methods do not allow pop-up windows to appear in CruzPay, please contact cruzpay_help@ucsc.edu What happens if I don’t enable pop-up windows?Pop-ups must be enabled in order to submit your timesheet, this is an important step in finalizing your time entry at the end of the month. Enabling pop-ups also allows an employee to view information in two specific formats: 1. Pay Preview. This shows you the hours you recorded under different pay codes. An employee will also be able to see this information on their electronic and printed timesheet in a different format. Pay Preview also shows calculations for overtime if that situation applies to you. |
